When I was little, I loved watching my grandfather painting. He liked to grind the paints by hand. He grounded the paint blocks, which are made of clam, into powder, and put some into water, making them usable paints. The whole process was fascinating to me.   
Generally I prefer still life photography to portraiture. When I was shooting the palettes, in my mind these objects become the symbols my family members.  Each palette means each of them, their personality and mentality are shown here.
